In the 'Choose an app' window, click Google Chrome. At the bottom, under 'Web browser', click your current browser (typically Microsoft Edge).
Open your default apps: Original version: Click System Default apps. It quickly installed and set itself as the default browser. Strangely, during the installation process, I didn't see any option to not set it as default browser. I had heard good things about this new version and wanted to give it a shot. So the other day I downloaded and installed the latest version of Opera.
